Ingredients
- About 3lb of Citrus fruits (Orange or tangerines)
- Sugar (same weight as peeled fruits)
Directions
- Peel the fruits, reserve the skins after scraping them for excess pith
- Seeds the fruits and put seeds in muslin bag
- Mix resulting fruits with equal amount of sugar
- Boil the peels for 5 minutes
- Cut the peels in fine strips
- Slowly cook fruits, sugar, peel stips and seeds for about 1 hour and until the mix darken in colour and you obtain a thick syrup
- Remove seeds
- Can, and sterilize cans by plunging them in boiling water for 15 minutes
