Ingredients

  • 1 turnip
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 large carrots
  • 2 leeks
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1/4 cup of heavy whipping cream

Directions

  1. Cut turnip, potatoes, carrots, leeks into cubes
  2. Put all ingredients in pot
  3. Add salt, pepper and bay leaf
  4. Add water to cover ingredients
  5. Cook for 60 minutes
  6. Use food mill or blend to mash soup and return to pot
  7. Add cream, mix and serve
